You mean to tell me the overhead for a podcast where they weren’t even getting food catered before the show is millions of dollars?

Man I am puzzled where this huge overhead is coming from...

I am not in the production business so I defer to more knowledgeable people.......

But first......are these studios expensive? I literally see people hold podcasts with mikes sitting around a table with no fancy background

Once you buy the audio equipmet, isnt that more or less a sunk cost?

Salaries for audio engineers etc etc

Is this running into 30K a week territory?

He's all over the place.. And like Mal was saying, the truth is short and to the point, and doesn't switch up. You're talking to someone who MAYBE heard 2 JBP in my LIFE. I got no dog in this fight. But I clearly see Joe saying 550 different things, and sometimes he'll contradict himself all in the same ass video, like right here.

I kept listening.. He speaks on the $400k mistake. Says it wasn't a mistake, Spotify gave him an advance and instead of splitting for the years, the accountant put it down as one lump sum... Sounds like a mistake nikka. They didn't say you stole the money. Simply there was a mistake and it was corrected. But being a liar, you get extra defensive, and tell on yourself.

I feel like this. If he owes them money, they need to sue the fukk out of him and get they shyt. If he doesn’t and he in fact was overpaying them. They need to go separate ways and never do business again. Cause either way. He’s a terrible boss with the way he handles things. Simple as that. What’s the next move?

I think anybody suing anybody is going to look bad for the one seeking the money. This is still rap culture. You don't sue nikkas. If you do, you start looking funny to the same community, unless it's something crazy. I really can't remember two rappers suing each other and one not looking like a sucker for doing so. I really can't even remember too many rap lawsuits...

They'll both continue with their pods and sneak diss every chance they get

Maybe the location their renting. The equipment definitely upgraded. He prolly also has more employees than before. And everyone is getting paid more than before. Yea. The podcast wasn’t being catered or any of that. But them nikkas also wasn’t making money like that. So having to maintain and keep them all paid so they can be comfortable and not feel like they had to take a cut in the middle of a pandemic could also factor into that.
