I somewhat disagree with mal’s take about Joe’s rap career not helping the pod. Their chemistry was a bigger factor but you can’t discount joes career like that
This is 100% delusional on Mal’s part. It was Joe’s celebrity that got them in the door. And his blow up from Everyday Struggle. The chemistry they had is what made people keep tuning in.

Joe needs to be put in an asylum.... I know how he acts because I feel I could have been him in my early 20s, the guy is 40...

Joe’s biggest issue is he can’t navigate success.... he doesn’t get the priorities. He wants to be Diddy, Jay. Just enjoy it, get money, trust process.... he doesn’t have the level headedness to manage a big project because it takes a TEAM to make it big

Tried to tell yall Joe has a clear history of not being able to work with people for extended amounts of time. In fact his problem seems to be once "emotions" get involved his reasoning goes out the window completely. The problem is his best work comes out of people he builds relationships with.

When his brothers in slaughter house can't work and be close with him, then his fam at complex can't and now his own podcast fam has a fallen out with him. He and everyone else needs to stop making excuses and realize its him.

After listening to this, their side makes WAY more sense than Joe’s. I hope they sue him and they’re forced to open the books and we find out they were being underpaid this whole time. They deserve to be made whole if there was in fact some funny shyt going on with the finances.

Mal said he recognizes Joe is the Star and that he deserves the most. He just wants his percent they agreed on from the jump.

:mjlol: maybe I should have found another way to say it. What I’m trying to say that him being an “industry vet” although like you guys say he wasn’t really moving units like that helped the pod. Allowed them to give insight that most other pods weren’t giving.
That podcast doesn’t get started without Joe being Joe. That podcast doesn’t take off without Joe being Joe. It’s not about album sales. It’s about what got them in the door. And what catapulted them. It wasn’t Joe’s albums. But it damn sure was Joe’s visibility and personality.

nikkas thought I was cappin when I said if 30m comes in.

Joe taking 29.8m

Joe paying out 100k for rory and 100k for mal

I been told y'all Joe was never trying to get his friends rich...He was never gonna do no percentages :mjlol:

If I was those girls doing that Pod on Joe's platform, I would leave and start my own YT channel as soon as my contract is up. Joe will NEVER pay y'all what y'all making him.

Joe Budden the biggest nut ass hypocrite :laff::laff::laff:

He wants to be Diddy for his IG. He’s a narcissist. Look at his IG, every pic is of himself. You can’t trust a guy like that. He lives in his head. His principles are wrong. I don’t even think he cheated them out of money, but he convinced himself they don’t deserve it because he wants his ‘mogul’ like success so bad, not seeing the journey with his friends will get him there.

I thought joe said they couldn’t do a podcast :troll:
That noncompete probably won't hold any water. The issue with noncompetes is judges don't really like stopping people from earning an income. Especially with us still being (or just getting out) of a pandemic. First of all I feel like the courts are so booked that by the time he even gets a court date that 1 year timer is going to be up. Then if he does I still feel like the judge would rather allow them to earn a living for the time being and then figure things out during the case. Now if that non-compete offers them money for that year they can't podcast then it'd be a different situation.

Yeah and plus he could just be a more appealing podcaster than rapper. That was a bad-faith argument.

Yes. Joe is a head case and he’s too arrogant, self indulged, and stubborn to get the proper help he needs.

Nah if needed to be said. His career was largely a failure and even at the height of his independent run he wasn’t selling out basic venues. It’s worth pointing out because he’s delusional and this is how you reach him.

But their argument has been proven wrong thus far by the podcast continuing to thrive without them. They were banking on it tanking after they initially left to gain leverage against Joe.
