Them boys came up.

Doesn't that include ppl who just watched the trailer? The trailer was almost 1 min long and most view counts include anything watched over 30 seconds.

He’s a narcissistic sociopath, always has been. That return ep with Rory and Mal was a dead giveaway. He’s even said before that he likes therapy because it shows him that he likes some of his emotional flaws. Everything is about becoming a better emotional manipulator, and I’m not surprised this may have manifested into criminal behavior.

Isn't that why Dr. Melfi (in the spirit of the Sopranos analogy) eventually cut off her professional relationship with Tony? She realized he was using the sessions, not as a way to get better, but to become even more sociopathic through the course of the show... :ohhh:

Nah. Podcast wasnt even making real money until like 2 years ago.

Mal needs his name out there for what? He's not in the content game or an entertainer outside of that pod that he joined cuz his friend asked.

Rory? nikka been in the industry, he can make any connections he needs for marketing.

We get so wrapped up in celebrity culture we be assuming everyone wants or needs it. This pod was a LICK for those two. Not their primary trade, shyt just happened to blow up and they made a bag.

Unlike a lot of these other podcasts, Rory and Mal were both behind-the-scenes guys with industry connects, who were invited to be on camera one day and things escalated from there. Neither of them are entertainers by trade like Joe or Charla or Andrew Schultz or Adam22, etc.

That’s dope but y’all gotta remember those numbers are from the interest in these cat’s response to what Joe had to say and their side of the story. Not really indicative of what a show with them 2 would do outside of that.

They shouldn't go back to doing the exact same thing. I think if they choose to just do interviews or always have a celeb guest they quickly shoot up to the top of that space. They are two of the most personable dudes in the business. Like everyone said they didn't have the business credentials but they're likable and they aren't as weird as the people IN the industry. Joe is a terrible interviewer. Charlamange's intuitive ability is very advanced so
he is always can get a good interview. But is he likable? I don't think so. Wallo & Gillie only Wallo is likable. And they are also limited in the people they can interview where Rory & Mal aren't. You know they would be able to get Drake.

:patrice:It sounds like Ian has been working with Rory, Mal, and their representatives....and Joe has been blowing shyt up. A truly self destructive person. Folks fukked w the pod even with his bullshyt.

Going back to last week's episode...Ian and Joe said something to effect of taking a bit, taking less to get things going. After hearing Rory and Mal, everything makes sense. They were eating off the profits of the POD...everyone else is employees of the NETWORK. The posturing between podcast and network....purposely using the terms interchangeably bc he was using podcast monies to find/build a network. Not a problem necessarily...until you consider that Rory and Mal bust down the profits. If I get X from the podcast, I need X. I'm not taking no shorts, breh - give me my paper lol. Oh, and Joe saying they don't understand their deals is more insulting than questioning accounting. There was a mistake in the accounting that was never rectified/explained lol. Lawyers have been working through their deals....drafted their deals. That'd be damn near impossible lol

People win against corporations all the time fam. shyt I remember one job I had a while back where the damn employees literally won almost every case they had against the company.

I agree with you, but I'm not gonna argue with them.
Its a pretty open shut case BECAUSE of the contract
I've been in cases that take 5 years. I doubt people even know how lawyers get paid to be honest from the responses. There's multiple ways to pay a lawyer etc and if you win some of the time the defendant has to pay the entire case.

"As with any good rule, the American Rule has exceptions. Those are when a contract or a law shifts fees to the other side.

Shifting fees by contract is OK because it’s done by agreement. A party may not have been aware of a fee-shifting term, or negotiated over it, but if they signed something that says they’ll pay the other sides lawyer fees, they’re bound by it.

Leases, for example, often say the tenant is liable for the landlord’s lawyer fees. It’s OK for a contract to shift fees only one way.

Laws and ordinances can also shift lawyer fees. That’s usually done to encourage the enforcement of laws designed to protect the public.

Some laws make the other side pay your lawyer fees if you win, and prove they violated the law. Awarding fees to the prevailing plaintiff shifts fees one way.

Other laws shift fees either way, by awarding lawyer fees to the prevailing party. That imposes the English Rule, where the loser pays the lawyer fees, even if they filed the suit."

If you are blatantly breaking your clients contracts and withholding money and ledgers on top of slandering them and defaming their character, while also firing them on air about it, breaching the very contract you created... you are guilty 5 different ways. There's simply no defense or stalling for any of that. All they would have to do is open and close the books on this entire case. People keep bringing up contracts then pretending like they dont exist... you are contractually fukked... in Joe's case but they signed a good contract. Rory and Mal signed it, Joe signed it.... its a wrap there's not much investigation to be done.

here's a protip my dudes :russ: when you plug your social security number in during a legal proceeding. They have your accounts and whole life history basically. Unless you are hiding bricks in the ceiling they know what you made, when you made it and where you have it. If you play games and shyt, they will put a lien on your house and cars and sell that shyt to pay the winning party. Contractually you lost, you are in a corner that you signed. That's why Joe popped up and sent money super quick once shyt hit the fan. Furthermore they can come back to the pod if they have a contract still in tact. By him breaching contract they were wrongfully terminated and can also collect the remaining pay on that contract and damages done etc. Not only would he owe them the missing pay, if they were signed for 2 more years... he would owe them the remainder of that contract off top.

Still cant see how this pic in particular is funny tho.

All jokes aside this dude came into the rap game with a hit song and thought he'd be loved.

Spent the next two decades getting clowned by rappers he idolizes, fukked over by labels, embarrassed on the internet more that ANY rapper i can think of in history in the harshest of ways (beat up, proposal turnt down, etc) all of his women get snatched by other celebs.

I've known nikkas to leave town for the rest of their lives if even 1 or 2 of these things happened to em publicly :wow:

All while being LEGITIMATELY mentally unstable, addicted to drugs, suicidal. If he didnt have a kid he prob woulda been gone long ago

Idk, seeing him blatantly try to hide his depression like this while people actively telling him vile shyt hit my empathetic side :picard: shyt seems ominous to me
I actually feel sad for this dude.

Someone should have told Joe, after he recorded Wednesdays podcast, to delete before posting. After getting that anger out, he should have recorded a new one that made him sound less nuts. Maybe a few minutes on the subject and then move on without spewing out the hostilities. His reputation would have been spared a little. However, that would have been off-brand for self-destructive Joe lol
