Black women are not fringe to a women's march.I support trans rights and feminism. That being said it's pretty clear what's happening here is the same thing that happened to Occupy, BLM, and most leftist or social identity groups. They cannibalize themselves as fringe members begin applying purity tests to each other, tearing down any form of leadership, and ultimately shrinking the movement to fit whatever their insular objective is.
The women's march movement is dealing with this right now: trans women and black women are accusing it of not being inclusive. BLM is dealing with it: LGBT members are having issues with straight black men. The list goes on and on. Instead of building solidarity or forming sub groups that can coexist, the movements get torn apart as each group demands something from another.
Another problem is that many extremists attracted to these movements do not believe in heirarchy. Which means they tear down leadership in theses groups. Which makes it hard to organize. You need leaders to delegate and lead. I'm not talking about a singular national leader, but like...a leader for a local chapter of BLM in a certain city for instance. That becomes impossible as the fight becomes what race or gender should the person be, should we vote, why should the votes be equal when x group is under represented, etc until any plans for leadership get thrown out the window.
