Superstar
If this was any other superstar like Melo or Lebron, all criticisms would have come from hell.
just frustrated some have but I have always said this isn't singularly Rose's decision it's his management.
I was ready to shyt on Derrick Rose like folks are doing, but I remember thinking during last season that Rose kept getting all these lower body injuries (foot I think? then ankle, then knee) cuz he was playing hurt and putting strain on other joints to compensate for his injuries which only lead to bigger injuries
If thats what he's worried about then I can't blame him. But if its just cuz he's not "mentally ready" then he needs to stop fakin and play
"We just got to go there, put our boxing gloves back on and tell everybody 'be ready to play,'" Gibson said. "It's no time to be hurt, sick; it could be the end of the season. So we have to go out there, just put forth a lot of effort. There's no time to worry about small things; we got to just push the limit."
If this is the case, then he or somebody needs to express this. Then all the talk could just stop.
It just hasnt been handled well, that is my biggest issue with this all at this point.
Now im starting to get pissed watching this team battle when supposedly the only thing holding rose back is confidence.
Not knowing if he'll play has to be frustrating for the fans but I'm sure it's even more frustrating for the opponent. If he won't play the rest of the year, but the other coach thinks that there's a chance he plays they're going to waste at least a little time planning for him.
