Rose is better than Westbrook. Or was, considering his injury. Not a knock on westbrook, but Rose is a far better ball handler, shooter, and defender. He also plays much better under control.

He does choke on freethrows though.

Here's why I'm calling Rose a better defender. He plays on a defensive minded team where he is an effective part of a full defensive unit. That's not easy considering how much mileage he gets on the offensive end as well. They're both prone to gambling, but except for L.bron these days, all star players gamble on defense. Westbrook has a bit of size on Rose, allowing him to guard more players, but Rose is there with necessary rotations. Rotations are far more important to overall defense.

As for shooting, I'm going with Rose. His form is better and his ability to get a shot off under any circumstances is scary.

Westbrook is a beast, but Rose was killing shyt before

I'd take an UNDER CONTROL Westbrook over Rose...but you never know what you gonna get when he steps on the court, nikka looks like a caveman and seems like he has brain issues when dealing with stress/energy/anxiety... sooooo in reality i'mma take Rose, assuming Rose will come back from his injuries.
