If they said top 10 "lyricists" instead of rappers, then the list would make more sense..because when you claim that someone is the GOAT rapper, you have to take a variety of things into consideration, like "impact" for instance...Pac's impact on hiphop still resonates to this very day in some form or fashion...

also, these people at billboard can only look at this hiphop shyt from a technical viewpoint, but like P said "this is rap for real, something you feel", and people like them wont feel shyt like "str8 ballin" or "dear mama", but they love to hear eminem talkin that nutty, disrespectful shyt about his mama or killin his bm thou

He's from Chevy Chase Maryland, which is a near-in suburb of DC. He put in work as a DJ and radio guy in DC area, and then he lost whatever gig he was working over some sort of controversy. He started doing gimmiky stuff like DJing in a McDonalds in Adams Morgan and that stupid rich boy parody he did. Then shortly after he got scooped up at Hot 97. To my knowledge, he didn't have any ties to NY before landing the Hot 97 gig.

I've never heard of the guy and I live in the area.

Also what was his rich boy parody like? From what I know chevy chase maryland is a rich area so was he a doing a parody of himself?

The suburbs
besides the obvious 2pac omission, the biggest one they didnt even bring up, is actually, might be, the most important artist in hip hop history and that's Ice Cube :yeshrug:

and no mention of Scarface is pathetic :dame:
Cube is a lock for top 3 more than any rapper in history to be honest.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not lol. I meant that Rosenberg remade a song by Rich Boy the rapper.

He was on University of Maryland radio station for like 5 years. And through that he became cool with a lot of folks

he was always cool with cats like Big Tigger(Maryland alumni) Kev Brown, Oddisee, Ken Starr, Grap Luva(Pete Rock's Brother) and DJ Book
