@Kalut The sample choice is great. The drums just don't seem to fit it, the clap has a lot of reverb in it which makes the mix a little to cloudy it makes it difficult to hear the other great elements you laced the track with. The kick could also be different,

I feel like with better drums the track could really shine

Voted for Ill. Drums were really good and I liked the energy. Nice sample. Gets points for being used from one of my favorite DOOM songs.

Second one needed different drums as said above but nice sample.

@Ill Clinton had my nod nodding early! Very dope beat. The break was a nice touch in variation then the beat added some touches. Perfect snare. Sounds like one of them College Dropout snareclaps but different. I like this. Could spit on this easily.

@Kalut had a bit of distortion but I really like the snare because it's so much cleaner than the beat. Makes it more modern than going 100% lofi. Kick pattern seemed too much as I like sparse big kicks. Dope beat.

Ill Clinton gets my vote here.

I believe Kalut's beat is a bit underrated lowkey now after another listen. I probably should have given this battle a bit more time.

Ill Clinton's caught me off jump tho with the sample choice, and that's always a big part to the ear.

Gave it to @Ill Clinton even though when I heard his beat I went cause I had a finished beat with the SAME sample that I planned to use in the tourney I joked with him about it and the gentleman that he is, offered to switch his beat up. @Ill Clinton Crazy sample on this one. Drums are super dirty. A little bit too much, IMO. However, I LOVE all the little switch-ups and added samples throughout. With the drums cleaned up a bit, this s**t is a banger.

@Kalut track is cool. The sample is crazy. I think the mix needs a little work (sample could be brought down, too much reverb on some drums) but it's not far off from where it needs to be. Some lows could be filtered out from the sample and the track could use more of a presence in the low end, via the kick or a bass line (808, etc.). Just my two cents.

Solid work from both. Went with Ill Clinton on this one.
