Both beats were dope. Rods beat was mad smooth and chill but I felt like it needed a lil more fleshing out.
Real gets my vote. Sounded a lil more complete. Better vibe as well. A real spitters beat.

@bigrodthe1 This is really smooth, I would add a more noticeable difference in the hi-hats and turn the hi hat channel down as well, but the vibe is dope, My mind wanted a kick to tighten the groove more, but but it's refreshing having that extra open space.
@ThaRealness This has a good boom bap feel to it. If you add some saturation to your kick it would add to the groove even mure. You can also add some to the snare for extra pop.

I love the instrumentation you added over the top as well. Got some Neptunes vibes from this. Hi-hat could be lowered a little bit, I like where the snare sits in the mix, but bro....where's the kick?! If you add a kick at the beginning of each chord, and sprinkled in between, this track would be next level. It's beautiful regardless, though.
