The spanish guitar is really beautiful. I like the dark sadness of the track.

Leezy beat was nice to but didn't really like the bass

this was very hard to pick from.

Ive heard Onigomu sample used before but cant remember what track, think its a wiz track? Either way great sample choice.

In the end I had to go with what felt easier on my ears ... mix wise and sound selection wise DBR merked that shyt .. that guitar is fukking fire ....

The fact that his track had soul without really using a soul sample is dope.

Loved the sample and @Onigumo beat, just think it needed some extra spices here and there, like maybe the original sample had some extra goodness you could have layered in to break things up a little.

@DBR ... damn if I could spit the last two years or so of my life down in a track, I'd do it on this beat...really feelin this one.

Onigumo really has impressed. After a few listens the drums really got better to me. For creativity gonna give him the nod:takedat:

@Onigumo :whew:

I liked the guitar beat but the swing of Onigumo beat is what got my vote, also felt more like a soul beat like someone else said

I probably listened to this battle 50 times over the week. I was hoping a sample post would give me clarity as, I can't tell what was sampled, although I can tell @Onigumo sampled or recreated a record.
I loved the guitar that @DBR used but I couldn't place it as a sample from a record, a sample post really would have helped on this front. DBR's drums are great, but I clearly know that Onigumo sampled from a record

For that reason my vote for this round goes to @Onigumo
