Lamar: Rushing record on top of the passing numbers this year is too much.
Allen
Burrow

I'm not a big believer in counting team accomplishments (wins, playoffs record, Superbowl appearances). I've seen Allen lose a playoff game despite playing amazing.

That being said, Lamar has to turn up this postseason.

Head to head Burrow always out perform everybody listed. Yall some haters

Saying Burrow is the fourth best QB isn't "hating".

1. I can't put anyone above Mahomes right now. Whether or not he looks better or worse than Lamar, Allen, and Burrow this season doesn't matter to me for that. I have him at the top until proven otherwise.

2. There is no doubt that Lamar and Allen have had less to work with in terms of weapons than Burrow in their careers so far. I'm not knocking Burrow for having Chase and Higgins, but Lamar and Allen haven't had that luxury. Allen had Diggs, but not two #1 WR's and a Joe Mixon when he was there. Not knocking Burrow, but it makes what the other two have done statistically impressive.

3. I know you and some others will probably throw some statistical chart out here for this comment, but I've said this for years. Joe Burrow has a propensity to take some HORRIBLE sacks, and that can't always be put on the offensive-line. It's almost like clockwork that he is bound to take a few horrible sacks. He doesn't have the ability to get away like Lamar and Allen. I have seen Lamar take some terrible ones too, but it seems like when it matters most, Burrow takes the worst sacks. It's like Deshaun Watson early in his career.

4. This is the separator for me. Lamar and Allen can make plays that Joe Burrow just can't. Their ability to move and throw on the run and near the sideline is something only them and maybe Mahomes can do. Again, that's not a knock on Burrow, but just a trait that elevates those two above him.

Lamar needs to show up in the playoffs. With that said, Burrow had one playoff run where he had 5 TD's and 2 INT's in four games. Not awful, unlike the amount of sacks he took. He can't keep living off that one run and some great numbers with elite weapons.

@gtj1982 i dont know what you are laughing about, he isnt clutch like that. He choked vs the Ravens, twice his year. Choked vs the Chiefs this year. Had a 10 pt lead in SB56 and couldnt score again. Had the ball in his hands with a chance to win or tie, in that SB,.and did neither. Despite an explosive play by Chase to start the drive. How do you go from 2 and 3 to turñover on downs? Had the ball in the 4th qtr, in the 2022 AFC title game at Kc and despite facing the lowest ranked scoring defense of the Spags era, he went scoreless.

Bruh I think it's so fun that we have four potentially All-Timers simultaneously. It reminds me of when we had Brady, Brees, Manning, and Rodgers all in their primes, for like a 6-season window from 2009 to 2014. Remember Aaron threw his name into the ring with that '09 playoff loss to Arizona, he was fukking unbelievable...

And we all know '14 was Manning's last great year...

How would you guys rank the three? Just a quick reference guide to help with all three, as all 3 currently stand:

Nice time to update this! I'll first say that if doing it today, only the here and now, Allen is a better player than Mahomes, and Lamar was better than Mahomes in 2023 and 2024.

Right now its

1 Allen
2 Mahomes
3 Lamar
4 Burrow

However from a historical, career-long sense, its clear that Mahomes is still #1 by a sizable margin. Also from a historical sense, Burrow is #4 on this list pretty comfortably, he can no longer get the benefit of the doubt over the other two guys when he's missed the playoffs 3 straight years.

Allen should have 53.95
While Lamar should have 98.33 (+bias against dual-threat QBs)
