It's funny hearing the new generation of wrestlers insecurities whenever someone from the outside wants to do something with the WWE, they would have hated Mr. T, Lawrence Taylor, Mike Tyson, Floyd, etc. even more for coming in for Mania. Punk, Orton, and Dolph kept bytching about The Rock when he returned, even though The Rock did their biggest business ever for 2012 & 2013. Punk on his podcast kept bytched about The Rock taking "his spot", yet not talking about all the extra money Punk and everyone else on the roster made because of the business The Rock drew.

Rousey cringe AF, but only reason why the WWE cares about women in WWE is because of her MMA run while they were trotting out piss break Divas matches during Rousey's rise in 2012-2013, her MMA run was what led to WWE wanting to care about women being seen as important in the WWE starting in NXT riding off from her wave. WWE wanted their cake and wanted to eat off of it by letting Asuka win which the hardcore fans wanted and debuting Rousey at a big PPV, that's on them. Wrestling business has always been about stars and what will draw the most money, which is what the new generation of wrestlers just don't seem to get or want to understand. WWE seems delusional to think that Rousey is going to do numbers for ratings or subscriptions because the MMA fans/fighters and mainstream outlets been going in on her not being good enough of being in Hollywood and scared of fighting legit fighters that can strike so she has no choice but go the WWE route. Can you imagine when she gets that super push and if hardcore fans start booing her or chanting "Holly Holm" or other chants at her? I can definitely see this going real bad if she isn't a heel or without a mouth piece for her because full time Rousey as face or doing long promos is a disaster waiting for happen.
