I have this one right here mainly because I was trying to future proof myself but it's been working lovely. Plus it has a mode on it called qos that will prioritize gaming or streaming over anyone else on the wifi....I've been routinely getting over 50 Mbps and I only pay for 50 Mbps on all my devices....can't beat it.

Don't waste money in AC routers because most devices don't have AC cards and yes you'd need an ac adapter...
I recommend an Asus router, I copped the and have had zero problems since then, great range, just awesome but any other asus that fits your needs is fine too.

Cop that ac68 that way you won't need to be worried about another router for 5-6 years...future proof yourself on all purchases.
