:damn: i'm looking for a good router brehs. just moved into a house that's 3 times the size of my old apt. I need a dual-band router with decent throughput (its gonna be in a central location so i'm not trying to break the bank.) y'all got any good suggestions?

I have the second one. It served me well but when the AC68U went on sale at Best Buy for $120 last Sunday I bought that. The AC66 now sits in my living room as a wireless bridge for my AC68 so my game consoles and TV can get online at wireless AC speeds.

:ohhh:

:dwillhuh: how do these work? what additonal setup is required?
Power line adapters are great. You just have to make sure the outlets you want to use are on the same circuit. You just plug it into the wall, put an Ethernet cable into it from your router, then plug another one into another plug close to what you want to have internet on and run the Ethernet cable out of it to the device you want. No real set up needed. Should take 5 - 10 minutes if that. It runs data through the wires already in your walls. It works just as described. I had some net Gear ones that worked like a charm.
