That don't happen with Hibbert. His effect on d isn't something you can just look at the box score and get a tangible measurement from

my point is the could have signed someone cheaper than overpay

the pacers have given up 50 points in the paint 5 other times this season as well

roy hibbert is not really overpaid, centers get the big bucks.

basically every playoff team is paying a center like 9-12 mill

this season has been all about development for McGee: destroying all the bad habits he learned in Washington and rebuilding him into a more fundamentally sound center. that's a luxury a team with great depth and no cap killing contracts can afford on a player with such high reward like Javale.
