You know if Moore won the same people would be saying Dems couldnt even beat a Pedo
At some point your going to have to give context to those people. Who are those people? Do they even vote?

Pennsylvania had a governor a while back Corbett. Corbett pandered so much to one specific constituent so boldly he didn’t realize he was angering a lot of Philadelphia voters. The voters rejected Corbett and elected Wolfe.

People didn’t vote for Hilary. I think the midterms next year are going to “shock” this country. You can’t put terrible candidates on the stage and expect people to be wantonly enthusiastic. Roy Moore was a terrible candidate. The current president is a terrible candidate, and in 2020 he too will be replaced.

This is not a win
Moore belongs in jail or needs to beaten by a gang of ppl
its a comparative win. roy moore could have been a senator. now he wont be. republican senate majority is down to one now. thats certainly a win
but yeah i want to see this man actually punished in my lifetime, for sure

The Price Black Voters Paid to Defeat Roy Moore: We Still Need to Talk About Alabama's Voter Suppression

Since 1960, the ADC has not only helped to protect the voting rights of the state’s African American residents, but it also helped get them to the polls during elections. But its efforts were crippled this year thanks to a new state law that forbids political organizations from making financial donations to other political groups, which is how the ADC earned much of its revenue. Writes Pildes:

Given the economic position of many blacks in Alabama, the ADC charges membership dues of only $15/year, and less than half its financial resources traditionally came from these dues. More than half its financing for things like GOTV efforts came from organizations representing teachers and trial lawyers, which shared ADC’s political aims. When Alabama banned political groups from providing financial support to other political groups, it cut off nearly half the money ADC received for its GOTV efforts.

Also:

Police checks at the polls:
The Daily Beast reported seeing police set up near polling locations to check people for warrants in Montgomery, Alabama, one of the state’s urban centers where black voters helped send Jones to victory. There is a long history of this specific kind of police badge-sponsored voter intimidation in Alabama (and other states) to frighten black voters away from the polls.

So proud of Black Americans for the turnout despite the adversity.

Edit: A voting is not a feel good sport, it's an exchange. It's quid pro quo - something for something. So Roy Moore needs to return something back to the voting bloc that supported him in a ruby red state. Could possibly make Alabama purple by midterms. A well informed voting bloc makes these demands, first, but baby steps I suppose. Don't like the way the conversation on the forum. Facts, charts do not touch on the most important issue - quid pro quo.
