Royal Flush was only 17 years old when this album dropped btw
Nah, Flush was born in 73 and this album came out in 97.

Did anybody know that him and Capone were cousins? I remember reading this in a couple different places and I think Pone said it in the CNN album credits

I absolutely love this album. I like it as much as War Report and play it even more. And it slaughters Mic Geronimos album. I truly love this album.

I noticed that there are almost no threads on this on topic of him in general, but last week i finally put on the cd i had purchased around 2009 (i tend to do that) and i was listening through it all of the way and the production is nice and the narrative is excellent. I tend to think what seperates albums like this from albums today is the narrative and storytelling. You dont get the sense that its bricks on bricks on bricks, its feels more like robbing small time jewlry stores(, having a rough childhood through domestic violence (family problems), having your chain snatched (shines) etc. There is never a sense of unrealistic interpretation of the street and its consequences, in other words, its not ferraris, bugattis, bricks. However the track worldwide stuck out because i remember hearing it years ago and not knowing who it was, im talking 96/97. i remembered it because it felt like he was going at the dogg pound, but i had no idea who did the song.
Anyhow, here is a link, its not the easiest album to find and its long out ofprint

Y'all sure? Royal Flush himself said he was 17 when it dropped in an a interview. Not sure why he would lie.

I agree with the comparison to the War Report. Anybody have any idea why this album was so overlooked at the time? shyt should've been as highly regarded as the War Reprt. The fact it wasn't is just :mindblown:

It just came out when the jiggy assault was in full swing. everybody i knew loved it. it even HAS dope semi jiggy leanings like the Boz Scaggs joint with ja on the chorus and what a shame with NORE where he shyts on Musolini.

not sure why the album didn't make waves more. i couldn't figure much of anything out during those years.
