Yes, which is why I'm very puzzled at comments making it seem like Lupe is vastly better than him. "He's not Lupe" so who is Royce, J-Kwon?? I'd say they're equal to each other, but Royce has made far more enjoyable music, especially recent music

Give the lyricist a lane and the motivation to merge into it. Another revenue source that might make young nikkas wanna rap again. It could be the kinda shyt that makes rap exciting again. Royce will fukk them nikkas up and I'd bet real cash not coli cash on that with anybody.

And Lupe's delivery and flow aren't strong enough. He don't punch like Royce and when he does it won't land like Royce's. I love this shyt let's see who's the best. Let's stop capping and prove it. The industry needs this. These are millionaires can't downplay none of these guys. And the ones that aren't are high profile.

Def agree with all of this. Straight up lyrically, I'm struggling to find anything Lupe does definitively better than Royce to say "Royce ain't Lupe ". Overall, the only things Lupe does better than Royce are grow dreads, get sensitive on twitter, and put out albums that he himself doesn't even like.
