Didn't hear the other song but on this song he tried to use some drake flow and scheme and it sounded terrble. Most of the song was just him not ending his bars on time which is why the shyt sounds so off. Hopefully he wasn't in the studio when this was mixed and they just cut and paste an acapella over a beat because it sounds like garbage

Joe is one person who music i just can get into.
I can understand how people would struggle to get into his music, he's always known his lane and stuck to it, and the one album he didn't was easily his worst, all I can say is if you haven't heard his latest (all love lost) give it a listen, it might stand out more since it was his best produced project imo, but there's a good chance if you don't like joe buddens music now you probably never will.

Gates is capable as a lyricist, he's probably capable of doing a good diss record. That being said Royce could body him if it came down to that, if Gates replies Royce will most likely rise to the occasion. This track was kind of wack but Royce's best material is always inspired from competition.
