Nobody in their right mind wouldve said Jay Z was better than Kane. Jaz was still sonning Jay at that time. Jay is an amalgation of other people's styles (and rhymes ), Kane was part of the great renaissance in 88, he, Rakim and G Rap changed EVERYTHING. He also is the blueprint for people like Drake.
