RPG's or RPG's?

In the genre of role-playing games, whether it's sc-fi, or fantasy fiction related. You can usually have RPGs in sc-fi fantasy fiction games. The question is though, if you had a choice to play a game where you could blow the hell outta someone in a game all day, let's say GTA 5, Saints Row 2-3, Modern Warfare 1-2, Battlefield 3. or would you rather go through an adventure game, let's say Skyrim, Fable 2, Dragon's Dogma, Mass Effect 1-3, Dark Souls, or even Might & Magic (non RTS)? I choose RPGs because they usualy last longer. The stories are better, and they usualy take skill/strategy to win

Like a mix between Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and a studio ghibli anime movie
