Incumbants are usually tough to defeat but let's not act like Trump is this well liked world beater. He won in 2016 because voter turn out was so low (Lower than the last 3 presidential elections, despite having a larger population of voters than each of those) because both sides ran bad candidates. Dems need to run someone competent and likeable and half the battle is already finished. I think Bernie is too divisive and radical to run as the head of a ticket, but Bernie as a Vice is a solid choice IMO because you placate to both sides with that
