Kings organization is a mess. I don't blame him.

Dude is on his way to Miami to resurrect his career. :wow:

Some older players take exception to Pat Riley style fitness conditioning, that alongside his Achilles tear and the fact he's literally scared of box scores, doesn't bode well for a Miami heat tenure.

He must be gambling on himself returning at the same level that he was before the injury. Don't know if he's going to get the contract he think he deserves though this offseason.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
HE WAS MAKING 14 MILL NEXT YEAR.

ITS NOT A GAMBLE
THINKING HE COULD ATLEAST GET THAT FROM A NEW TEAM
WHILE GETTING THE HELL OUT OF SACRAMENTO.

He'll be able to recoup on years, but I don't know about his yearly salary. Most of the teams with space already have an SF, he needs to market himself as a smallball 4.

Not sure Miami will have the funds? I could be wrong.

We could use him in Orlando. We need a scorer in the worst way. We can give him the money we gave Jeff Green :heh:

What if he comes back and doesn't have much left?

Would you rather have the 1 more year for 14 million or try and get one more multi-year deal before you retire? Even something like a 2 year 20 million deal is more than he'd get if he didn't opt out, and he'll definitely get more than that even with his injury.

Plus, he can get out of Sacramento. :ehh:
Isn't that why you opt in? I am not sure if he can get that big pay day. Dude seems confidence though so we will see

He has no business in Sac anyway. They're in rebuild mode again so why stick around?

He's back on the court just in time, the beginning of the offseason where he can get back into basketball shape and impress GM's. Portland comes to mind as a nice fit for him assuming they have the funds this summer. He's still a nice piece to have if he can get back to his former self.

Is Sactown not a desired market? Im not talking about that office...I just mean kicking it in the city....why leave?
Who wants to waste the last bit of their prime on a team that's not contending especially with the WOAT front office? This is his last big contract so I expect him to make the most of it.

I see you read the piece on Heat culture that dropped a few weeks ago lol.

Not saying it comes to fruition but he's long had interest in playing for Miami.
