Because it's really contagious; for the people that get do sick, it gets really bad ... as a result, hospitals are quickly overwhelmed ... if your local hospitals are overwhelmed with just these people, it does not bode well for people who need treatment for other ailments because the whole hospital staff is stretched super thin, beds no longer available, doctors and nurses start dropping and their expertise along with how long it takes make make one of them in the first place ... healthcare system may just collapse.

Look at what is happening to the hospitals in NYC. Maybe you didn't believe what is happening elsewhere because they don't speak English, but there is more than enough info out there now. And if that's happening in NYC, I can only imagine what will happen to smaller towns with less capable hospitals.

If we can lessen the spread then that means most individual people can get the proper care and we can save alot of people
