I didnt even know Ruff Ryders as a label existed in the first place...

wasnt it always just Management? I always say them in the same light as Violator.

Eve was Ruff Ryders althoughout her return to Aftermath in 07 so they def been making moves.

Nah the Lox could've been bigger too... they created their biggest buzz on their own with the let the lox go campaign... RR the actual label did nothing for them.

Drag-On could've filled that juelz santana/Murphy Lee lane...young nikka that's number 2 in the camp. Drag was like 18 when he came out. Respected by older heads loves by younger ones if they marketed him right... I actually think they pushed EVE too much which us part of the reason the never promotes Drag right
They had to push eve more ...that first album was damn near a classic ...I will go as far and say that drag on first hit was because juvenile was on that shyt...I was really disappointed with the opposite of h20

I think you're right, however Eve's push was also done by the machine. She had Universal. Eve was put on RR like how The Game was
put on G-Unit. For marketing reasons etc. In turn RR got a label deal. They were only a management label. Which is why they learned as they went.

Someone like X had Def Jam/Polygram behind him. Eve had Universal/Interscope behind her. Lox & Drag were the only ones directly signed
to the "newly found" label.

So there is a difference.
