who do you KNOW that had that happen to them that bought NEW consoles?

the odds of that happening are small. shyt my new ps3 stopped playing games(still worked otherwise) before my used 360 did...its luck of the draw on both ends :manny:
...360 consoles breaking were rampant.

every gamer probably knows someone who bought it twice or three times

me and my nikkas been lucky :manny:

ive read plenty of stories but we all bought new Xboxes when we wanted to get a newer model. i knew it was out there though because of the 50%(and more) fail rate.

Microsoft has just confirmed that a group of hackers have indeed accessed theXbox Live accounts of several of its past and present "high-profile" employees. News of the breach was first reported by Ars Technica, which itself had been the victim of a DoS attack this last weekend, potentially linked to the same group. Evidence pointing to hacking collective Team Hype's alleged involvement surfaced when videos depicting its efforts were found online; videos that demonstrated the group's reported use of illegally obtained Social Security data to gain access to and sell off Xbox Live user accounts. According to Microsoft's recently issued statement, the company's working with authorities to "disable this current method" and cut off the possibility of future attacks. For now, it appears this security compromise is unrelated to a UK incident which saw Microsoft's Xbox Entertainment Award voting app temporarily expose user data. We'll update you as soon as we hear more.

whooooaaaaaa

We need a link, as your previous posting style has shown you to be someone of dubious integrity friend.

fakkit....a few MS employees got hacked...no different than a few random nikkas on xbl getting hacked. That shyt is light....it wasn't no 48 million and it wasn't a breach. There was a thread on here for this and I don't think it went to 2 pages before everyone realized it was fake. Enjoy being that one lil nikka late to the party though.

You heard about that one nikka that parted the red sea?

props to Sony the gawd for jumping on this straight away. I hear it's related to FIFA Ultimate team account hijacking, same thing been happening on XBOX for the past four years and they only got on that about a year ago. I remember purchasing mad XBOX accounts that were preloaded with points back in the day for dirt cheap. It was like $20 for 10,000 microsoft points. :wow:

@Hiphoplives4eva Its funny because the article clearly says,"No PSN accounts were compromised." So you can believe the article you posted or you can be a hypocrite and cherry pick certain parts of it.
