I need a source showing 99% of "millions" of contact sports athletes don't show any increased propensity towards violence/mental health issues compared to the general population.

If you don't have a source that's fine... I need to do more research on this issue too.

CTE is a long-term effect of traumatic brain injuries, but traumatic brain injuries (ie concussions) can have long-term impacts as well even if it doesn't develop into CTE. Someone who has been knocked out once or twice can have permanent damage to their ability to regulate emotions.

They are digging into it, but it looks like actually a lot of people with traumatic brain injuries end up in jail:

According to jail and prison studies, 25-87% of inmates report having experienced a head injury or TBI 2-4 as compared to 8.5% in a general population reporting a history of TBI.5

Basically there's at least 3x the amount of traumatic brain injuries of the prison population, and potentially as much as 9x as much.

The cop who was talking to him actually let him vent and even talk into their intercom and say what he wanted to say.

The deescalation was happening. Breh interpreted what the cop said of - I tell you what you can do - and responded "Nah, I know what I can do, you know who I am??"
