I loved the book, I don't know if I've seen the movie in entirety, I thought all go those SE Hinton adaptations were mishandled, 'The Outsiders' was so showy and over the top, and my favorite novel 'That Was Then….This Is Now' was sloppily adapted for the screen, completely changing the tone and feel of the book.

Never read the book watched it because I liked the cast. Motorcycle boy was a weird dude and it wasn't explained why we'll. really took away from it and I didn't care for the movie too much
