I don’t know about the notch on the Pixel since there’s still so much bezel at the bottom, but the point on the iPhone is to make the bezels seemingly non-existent.

The Pixel still having a bottom bezel with the notch doesn’t make sense.

Once Apple figures out how to get the Face ID tech under the screen they will be get rid of the notch I think. Probably won’t happen next year, so maybe in 2020.

I love the X I currently have but I'll probably upgrade to the 2018 model. I won't go plus size again though because I think it was too much for my smaller hands.
