My guess would've been Chicago with 'The Enclave' still having a notable presence there, but being reminded of 'The Commonwealth' here it makes sense that it would be set in Boston.

Nothing will ever top the Capital Wasteland for me, but gators does sound like a cool idea.
Fallout is one of the few games that is so much better on the PC. I can't imagine playing this game without the console commands. Every time someone or something messed up due to a glitch I just corrected it with a console command.

Have they said shyt about who's making it? Is it the dudes that made NV or the dudes that made FO3? Fo3's story was ass but they made the environment dope. NV story was dope as fukk but the desert felt empty as shyt, but I also couldn't play that bytch for half a year

I liked the environment it just needed more npcs

Why? I thought Fallout 2's story was average. The first one was dope but I liked 3 more.

Ever been the Vegas? Outside the city, it's just like this. Miles of fukkin desert, then little shytty towns in between. Not very exciting for a game, but accurate at least.
As far as location is concerned, they went to several places in the Fallout 3 DLC. Point Lookout was "the south" although it took place in Southern Maryland. It had swamps and hillbillies, stuff like that.
It's gotta take place in a major city, I think. NYC would be a great choice.
