Idk... I still liked buying physical games on consoles at least because I liked the box art and feel of having something tangible in my hand... though I say this as someone who has a pretty decent sized Steam library lol.
The ps6 is doa. The portable has a chance at $500. A $700 portable is doa.

I mean they can add another TB on there and raise the price of entry but people will whine about that too. 1TB is fine. Sony has given us the option of increasing storage if we need it the last few consoles. I'm sure it's going to be the same for this one too. The OG PS5 only had 825GBs on there and I just slapped a 2tb in there until the 4tb went down in priceAll of this is to say these mothafukkin game developers are completely out of touch with reality. A lot of these fukking games these days are over 100GB in storage and they wanna release a new console with only 1TB of storage for $1000? They must really want to lose money and their long time gamers.
Essentially! The people whining are acting like this hasn't been the case for the majority of the console experience. Nobody is forcing them to get a PS6 day one. The early adopters like me are the ones that cop it and then everyone else hops on the train when they're ready. The ones who just copped their PS5 are the ones that want to extend this cycle like there hasn't been millions of people that haven't had it for 5 years already and are ready to move onPS5 will be viable and supported for at least another 7-10 years.
Dudes are stuck in 1999.
A new console doesn’t need mass adoption day one. There won’t be any exclusive experiences made for it for years after it comes out and the majority of console players will still be playing COD, Fortnight, minecraft, etc.
Enthusiasts will upgrade no matter what the cost is and everybody else will move over as it makes sense for them![]()

All of this.We don't need a PS6 for a very long time. I know it's been six years so far since we've had the PS5, but it feels like we're only just getting started.
In any case, it should be at the very LEAST, 2tb and even that isn't gonna be enough. GTA 6 alone is gonna be the largest game so far and will damn near take half a day to install.
Obviously it ain't gonna come with a disc drive, we know that already. But if there's gonna be no physical media AT ALL, then the drive should be 4tb.
They've really been on some real bullshyt lately.![]()
