Why would Sasha be the face? It makes more sense to have Bayley be the sympathetic figure.

They just had Bayley get a haircut, new theme music, new gear, and a new personality a couple months ago. It wouldn't make any sense for her to go back to being face.
Plus, the only thing that justifies them having a feud is Sasha being the face and Bayley being the heel. That's an angle they haven't explored yet.

exacty if they wanted Bayley to be the face then the entire heel turn would be a waste of time if you’re going to turn her face 5 months later again

They might but she won’t win cause Andrade is on raw unless shayna/ronda wins the raw strap and goes to smackdown like they did with brock/fiend

the day after mania they'll act like the feud never happened.

You are forgetting that they like to put the belt on Charlotte for even a week or two to build up her title reigns.
Then why wouldn't they have her win the belt of the show she's on: Raw.
It's fine to run with the theory that she can win the title at any time but this is like saying, "Yeah...Charlotte's going to win the Rumble and beat Rhea Ripley at Mania for NXT title because they want her to be the champ."
Also, it'd be easy to book Sasha as a face in a feud with heel Bayley. Sasha's known for backstabbing. They could have a mishap during the Lacey feud to plant seeds.
Bayley gets paranoid and turns on Sasha before Sasha could get a chance. Easy.

For there to be a mishap Lacey has to win the belt at the Rumble. During the rumble Sasha and Bayley eliminate each other. Mania preshow match .

Only because Becky is lined up for Ronda. But forget our theory, think about this question. Is Charlotte Flair NOT going to be in a marquee match at WrestleMania?
Think about that. There's no chance she's not lined up for something big.
If the belief is that Becky is getting Ronda, then why wouldn't it be more logical for Charlotte to get someone that's likely to get called up to Raw like Shayna?
