Pretty much. They’re one of, if not the oldest team I’ve ever seen. Most of them have gotten paid big time. Most of them have won it all. They’ve spent most of the year without a point guard at all. They have so many holes on the team that I’ve seen them run lineups with Jeff green at center. Is anyone really playing at a high level with any consistency besides James? Their net rating is +0.8 points per 100 possessions. Their third best player most of the year (Wade) is averaging 11/4/4 on mediocre efficiency. With that team having all the holes it does, I think at some level they have to know. If you play as badly on defense as they do, it has to wear on them at some level and they just don’t have the personnel to defend at a high level.

After watching last night's game and the game on Christmas Day, it's definitely safe to say that the Cavs ain't winning the title unless some moves are made at the trade deadline. They have got to get some youth and defense on that team because LeBron can't do it everything by himself. At the rate the Cavs is going with the squad they have they getting knocked out in the semi-finals or ECF by the Celtics.

Cavs miss Kyrie. I can't see IT doing the same damage to the GS defense like how Kyrie did. Dubs have a ton of length so he can be neutralized. On the defensive end while Kyrie wasn't the best defender he could hold his own while IT is still one of the biggest defensive liabilities in the league.

Thats what everyone said January 2016 tho. Like EVERYONE. They played like trash, Coach lost the locker room, Bron having meltdowns, team was imploding, GS looking like gods. Despite that they still thought they could win. And that summer, they did.

First thing Cleveland needs to do is go back to last years starting lineup minus Irving:

G-IT
G-Smith
C-TT
F-Love
F-James

Kevin Love at center does not work.The starting lineup is just too small..Crowder is only averaging 3.2rpg in 25 mpg........TT can avg 3x that amount.....controlling the backboards will help the defense...TT in the starting lineup will open the door for C.Frye to get more minutes as the backup.

T.Lue is an idiot.He destroyed the benches chemistry when he cut Frye's minutes...He's also done a terrible job of developing Zizic.

Crowder's only 6'6...cleveland should kill two birds with one stone.....Go after a big shooting guard to replace Crowder's defense and Jr Smiths lack of offense........then see if you can make a trade for a solid center.

you fail to realize starting TT doesnt make them much bigger.... hes an undersized center, and hes not athletic. also the defense doesnt improve with him in the game. he started last year the cavs were still one of the worst defensive teams. he is NOT a rim protector, just a guy who hustles, and that isnt enough.

the cavs are never going to be a GOOD defensive team if they have no shot blocker. at least with love the floor is spread, but they need JR and crowder to make some fukkin open shots.

Read my post again...I said "Trade for a solid center".......TT would be part of the trade....also,people might not like TT...But I have confidence cleveland can get to the finals with him as the starting center.
