So just so we're clear...
LoL is the most popular game in the history of video games. It has more daily players than Instagram has visitors. Microsoft‘s most successful game franchise — Halo — has enjoyed more than 2 billion hours of gameplay since 2004. League of Legends averages more than 1 billion hours of play per month.
Wrap your mind around that. It is far and away THE biggest game in the world, by at least an order of magnitude. And you don't think any of the millions of players also have a gaming console? I mean since we know for a fact that console players don't flock to these types of games, where would you say they're going? What are they playing?
Its quite telling that instead of naming a single other game you have chosen to focus solely on LoL, its correct classification, and how popular it is.
You have basically told me that if LoL type games arent your cup of tea their is no reason to buy a Steambox. Thats exactly what many console gamers are saying.

Why would I focus on other games when this is the example you've asked me to provide? 100% of people I know who play LoL are console gamers.

Not sure if you're being serious now.
Bruh, you cant name any games outside the RTS/MOBA genre that would cause a console gamer to spend 500 bucks on a Steambox when they already have a console. If you asked me to name some games that would cause someone to pick up a PS3, 360, or WiiU i would be able to do it easily.

Edit: Before you agree (not that you were going to) you realize that all I have to do is find one console player who's going to buy a Steambox, and you're wrong. Right? I mean, you're not exactly setting up a strong argument here. Maybe you wouldn't buy a steambox, and I get that, but there's a lot of people who aren't you.

All the popular FPS you ever known came out on PC first and UEONO theres a FPS out right now that will probably make its way to console in like 2-3 years and youll still be here, using that same argument

Breh Win8 can lick the cheese under my nuts, it's worse than win7 when running games, it's made specifically for tablets and smartphones. A sellout OS.
It's running Linux, which with a program called WINE it can run any game from Windows and even runs the shyt faster because Linux is a clean OS, not too much personal junk shyt, and Linux is mainly used for servers that need better response time and less delay time between CPUs by linked cables. It's nice and smooth.
This is gonna be great, because iBUYPOWER always finds anything they can use an excuse for a discount sale on their site. I bought a $800 PC from them and all the wires were tucked neatly, airflow exceptional, they even allow you to engrave whatever you want on the case of the PC you buy.
On top of that they'll even throw in overclocking for only $20 more and that's a steal since overclocking can be fatal to your PC if you have no idea what you're doing.

the conditions are slightly different, but it reminds me when i had the 64 primarily and the new stuff started coming out..sat out a while, kept playing the classics 64 had and waited til it was truly worth it. its too early in the game to be picking sides IMO..
and by the way, id generally be considered a console player (although i used to play AoE and CS heavy back in the day), and Id be perfectly willing to cop a steambox over the alternatives, specifically because i know my buddies will be getting the more common stuff and ill be able to play it if i wanted to anyway. i dont see anything life changing happening on the next gen consoles right now
