but hopefully your using that pc for more than just games
why does it matter. there's much more expensive hobbies out there. try buying a nice set of golf clubs

No
Just build one
an A6 or a i3 for PC gaming in 2014
The $499 model will still crush the xbox one and the PS4 tho, so if you are looking for that...there you go.

Can one of the PC Coli nikkas please break this down brehs. Can't you build a stronger PC for cheaper than that ? Cus if so I'm finding it hard to see how this will move serious units when the vast majority of PC gamers could just potentially say fukk it and build their own.![]()
I'm just warning anybody who is used to the console experience that they will have to develop a taste for big time strategy games to really enjoy their builds and make it worth it. The multiplat games look better but not 800 dollars better maybe 100 dollars better unless they really go and get 3 4k monitors and an oculus rift to really feel something different
the PC market is just different their exclusives are for really hardcore gamers who are into strategy games and MMO's where they take time to build their characters and really feel like they live in the world the game creates
Consoles have linear action adventure titles first person shooters and sandbox action games. There was a time when PC's could say they had exclusive First Person Shooters that just couldn't be done on consoles back when the unreal tournaments far cry battlefields and original Call of Duty and a few others were popping. The last shooter that you could say PC gave an experience the console couldn't was Crysis
Now star citizen looks to be the next pc game to feature unreal amazing graphics but its one of those games that you seem to need to devote your life too
consoles kind of give you that night at the movies feel. You play for an hour a 2 a night beat the game indulge in multiplayer for that competitive feel and move on to the next experience. PC gamers have probably been playing world of warcaft for years
but ultimately back to the point if your into console games why spend so much money to play multiplat games with better graphics but not worth hundreds of dollars more in better graphics? Now I do support building a good htpc and well if you want to put a good graphics card then enjoy the better graphics but hopefully your using that pc for more than just games
why does everyone keep saying PC gamers are all about MMOS?

the PC is not just "strategy games" and multiplatform games with 'better graphics', although that seems to be what a lot of people think it is
what else is there? mmo's?
I'm pretty sure there's been a few threads on thisI'm just warning anybody who is used to the console experience that they will have to develop a taste for big time strategy games to really enjoy their builds and make it worth it. they are going to have to make some type of mouse or something though. Some games that controller won't work.
What is "cheap"?I saw that A6 and cried...knew you were gonna shyt on it.
Is there any laptop out there for "cheap" that can run pc games solid?
