Very, very, very surprising considering the year they’ve just had. I’m a Clipse super-fan but let’s be honest, their content doesn’t lend to them being a world-renowned music act so I’ve actually been blown away by the conversation they’ve managed to generate this year.
The music has been good but definitely not their best (or worst) work in my opinion so to me a lot of the conversation they’ve generated has been down to strategically placing them in the right places across the internet at the right time. From the outside looking in, Victor was a large part of that - Pusha’s career has also been incredibly fruitful since he linked up with Victor, I actually think it looks very different without him so yep, super surprised at this.
