Same with Chris Evans and Captain America.

Neither Affleck or Cavill have done that with their respective characters. Not even close. Now, part of that is weak writing, but still.

I loved the first man of steel movie... He has the look of superman I wish they write his characterization better tho.. blame WB for having weak writers not writing the material to showcase him when he speaks, usually when he does he's meant to inspire others... if man of steel 2 does get created they can do it there but...

I like this scene too but this is what im getting at. All he's doing is flying. You could replace any actor with Cavil in this scene. The music and voice over makes this scene. Not Superman, not Henry Cavil.

Nah I agree, he’s replaceable I’m just saying he did bring something and attempt to put a spin on the character that wasn’t just “I’m Batman” and I liked his Bruce, but like you said a lot of actors could do it. I still would have liked to see Armie Hammer’s take or Jake Gyllenhall or I saw a rumor about Luke Evans I’m game for just about anyone
