There are ddr3 cards that outperform gddr5 cards. The type of ram doesn't matter as much as the overall architecture of the card. No one said that gddr5 wasn't better. All I'm saying is the difference will be negligible when it comes to comparing the two consoles.

Launch Day PS4, you walk into a retail store and are before you is a PS4 with launch games such as Infamous:Second Son, BF4, Killzone 4, Drive club etc.

On the other hand you see a box of some sort that can let you watch youtube videos, daily motion and espn tickers while playing games that look a little bit better than PS3. it's games are .....uhh the games on it are already on PS4. What do you by?

more people care about alan wake then infamous 2424 . it's going to be the best looking game at e3 believe that.

why would they, they don't have to. both consoles are relatively weak in the gpu field compared to 2005. in 2013, they will both have to find ways innovate the way we play games or end up like the wii u. hopefully Microsoft has a new concept outside of kinect.

I know nvidia some haters but this is pretty telling, first generation where console will be significantly behind.

Comparing consoles to pc is stupid. Consoles are stable and you get your money's worth because you know they making games and supporting it for 10 years.. While pc is ever changing and they will release games that will trump your build in a couples years and you have to spend a console worth to upgrade just to play a game at its full capacity...

I'm not takin anything thing from Nvidia seriously. They burned bridges with MS, Sony, and Nintendo. So of course they wanna hype their Titan graphics card.

True. After all the info we have currently I'm not really excited about the next gen at all because my PC is going to be able to play all the multi platform games and neither Sony nor MS really have strong enough exclusives to draw me in. I mean I think it's pretty clear PS4 will be the strongest performing console but if that's all they got my PC is just better. MS haven't really said anything so I really can't get excited for something I know nothing about, but I am curious about augmented reality, which I can't do on PC. I like Nintendo first party titles and will get a Wii u eventually for those exclusive games, but they just don't have the library at present.

Basically at this point the more I learn about the next gen the more appealing PC gaming is

Im not ignoring anything, they know nothing about the durango. and i careless about PS4 GPU> Durango GPU both are weak as hell. Both companies are going to have to rely on others things to win this generation.

reading comprehension fellas. I already said that spec wise the ps4 would be slightly more powerful, but the actual real world difference will be negligable to the everyday consumer. The ps3 was slightly more powerful than the Xbox this gen and we see where that got us.

Y'all just see higher numbers and get all excited, but you really have no clue what your talking about. Both gpu's are low-mid end cards, I'm sure the closed architecture of the systems will squeeze extra performance out of them, but it doesn't matter how much or what kinda of ram you throw at them, they will only perform to their limit.

Why is this comparison even relevant when that damn card is a 1000 dollars? Of course its way better...the price of just the card is like 3x in price....how many people dropping 1000 on a fukking graphics card? A bunch of stupid geeks.
