:dwillhuh: how does a picture confirm specs?

The picture confirmed the DDR3 memory and APU and Eurogamer got the scoop from an MS hardware engineer on the GPU.

"In terms of the GPU hardware, hard information was difficult to come by, but one of the engineers did let slip with a significant stat - 768 operations per clock. We know that both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are based on Radeon GCN architecture and we also know that each compute unit is capable of 64 operations per clock. So, again through a process of extrapolation from the drip-feed of hard facts, the make-up of the One's GPU is confirmed - 12 compute units each capable of 64 ops/clock gives us the 768 total revealed by Microsoft and thus, by extension, the 1.2 teraflop graphics core. So that's another tick on the Durango leaked spec that has been transposed across to the final Xbox One architecture and the proof we need that PlayStation 4's 18 CU graphics core has 50 per cent more raw power than the GPU in the new Microsoft console."

Let me end this shyt....

We know what's inside the Xbox One. Have yall forgotten that Wired was able to get one and broke it down to see what was on the damn board? The leaks were verified.

I see the picture of what appears to be the xbox, but I don't see a breakdown of what I'm looking at
And your post above or previously is as always INCOMPLETE since there is no mention of things like esRAM/etc. So lets take it out the equation totally so you can sleep at night? :tu:

Seems like your confusing speculation with confirmation.

the picture confirmed the 8 gigs of DDR3 and the AMD APU. The GPU specs were confirmed by Eurogamer

Spec Analysis: Xbox One • Articles • Eurogamer.net

All of the hardware spec leaks on the XBox One were true...

xb1leakspectrue.jpg

And again, these consoles are in production right now. Good luck on any major hardware changes unless you wanna see the Xbox 1 in 2014.

There are some dumb ass arguments and lies going on in here.

A lot of these comments are fueled by emotions and agenda.

Both systems will be way better than the current systems, but niccas have the nerve to call them shytty! Mind you no one has actually played them and base there reasoning off rumors. Not facts, not first hand experience.... No rumors

There is a reason Xbox done wont release their specs, cause they know their shyt is completely inferior and it would cause even more people to jump to the savior

As you can see based on your own "proof" The clock speed has not been confirmed for the gpu. The gpu speed can be increased relatively easy as long the gpu is till stable and stay with in thermo spec of the cooling system. And as you pointed out that is one big ass fan.

P.S How do you know ther are being massed produced now?

Nah it's you Sony stans who are in denial.

Like I've said plenty of times, at the end of the day the on paper specs really won't mater.

Devs have said the performace of the two consoles will be similar.

History tells us performance will be similar.

Common sense tells us performace will be similar

And the games that have already been shown prove that performace will be similar.

You Sony stans that think the ps4 will be this powerhouse system while the Xbox isn't are the ones in denial

What does any of that shyt you just said have to do with believing that MS supposedly is gonna have a last minute hardware upgrade of overclocking the GPU and adding another 4GB of Ram? Like somehow MS is still hiding the "true" specs of X1 talking about how MS hasn't released the "final official" spec sheet yet.

Come on man...

You see that the wonders of PC based arch :blessed: Changes can be made later in the game than was possible back when all consoles was custom made parts back in the day.

Yup, plus the fact he's posting articles from back in May :whoa:
So basically he's going off of a Prototype system, and he's acting like its final?

The upclock leak talks about how they seen a bunch of prototype Xbox One systems that all look the same on the outside, but are different on the inside
dsc07175.jpg

This is not the only rumblings that the final hardware specs are still up in the air for the Xbox One apparently Engadget was able to get a inside look at Xbox One development a few days before the Xbox reveal which is around the same time beta devkits were sent out. In the picture above you'll notice many variations of hardware design leading to the idea that these might also contain different variations on internals that are still being tested even days before the reveal.
If I was a fanboy, i'd assume the day they revealed it the test consoles was then thrown directly into the bushes and the R&D unit was like  and they called it a day. Yup, thats what happened!!!

I never said I believed it. In fact I said IF it was true it would have had to be in works for a while now.

And they have not released the full specs yet, but that has nothing to do with me believing this rumor or not.

I know yall can choose to ignore the fact that the specs are confirmed, but go ahead and keep denying. The GPU specs are there, does it stop them from overclocking? No, but there's only so much they can do with that.

Have a nice day...

Is there a reason why this guy is avoiding the fact his report is based on unfinished specs :wtf:
Where is the mention of the esram into this equation or is esram just another myth like the cloud

that's from a MS hardware engineer based on the board of the system that MS let Wired show/open on the Xbox one console and knowing what's in the damn thing.

shyt is in production, and the only thing you can do at this point without delay is a software overclock of the GPU, but by only so much.

Again, have a nice day. :snooze:
