They tried so hard to force him to be another cena even for just a little and the crowd was so terrible an idea because it's a stink that just isn't going to go away. They can't handle another decade of their top guy having most of the crowd against him out the gate. The only way to build someone into a draw is let them grow on their own. Actually wrestling fans are pretty naive, especially the casuals. They'll buy right into it... There's nothing wrong with using legends to get over their current talent, they do it all the time. I bet if Sting was teaming with Ambrose most of you would be all over it, but of course it's Roman Reigns the IWC flips out.

And that's the problem with the whole thing. They've done this with Roman already a few times and he's just gotten backlash over it. It's not going to work a third time. Just like it didn't the first or second.

I was about to say this too. He has about 6-7 times as much merchandise as the next guy and they overstock his while under stocking everyone else at live shows too. Ratings are worse than when WCW nearly put them down. Nobody wants him in the ring anymore really except the little kids. Most of us stopped booing because we've just stopped watching entirely.
