I worked at Walmart 10 years ago and yes, someone will sort the carts items into bins by department. Then as days go along, people from those departments come get carts of shyt from their department and it needs to be put back, one by one.

I worked in grocery. If you have enough people, it can stay contained but it can get crazy over the holiday season. Fun times. It’s just work. Do what you can do while you are there. No need to stress about stupid shyt
