I agree digital is definitely the future but I'm still with my gaming and I NEED to have that physical copy. I still don't trust this digital age. No resale value what so ever and we're seeing now that there is the potential for digital games to be taken down or even locked for play without a refund. We saw this happen recently for AC Unity I believe. I could be wrong about the game, it may have been Far Cry. The point is the game was made unplayable for a certain amount of time. Even ones that were already downloaded. That's the stuff I worry about. Mainly the inability to resell something I purchased.

I don't want a digital only future either, I have decent internet speeds but not everyone is so fortunate. And I really doubt that's how the slim is gonna look or that it's even coming out this year.

if sony was smart, they'd release a cheaper slim PS4 without a blu ray drive and a bigger hard drive to forcee folks to buy all their games thru the PS store.

no doubt, but don't they get even more money for digital distribution? I mean it makes it so they don't even incur the cost have to have the physical media created.

Yo, I'm disappointed in both Sony and Microsoft this generation consoles didn't WOW me like back in the days. They both seem like upgraded hybird pc clones of counterparts. Sony did good with the VR headset and the Gameshare streamplay thats it. but the media entertainment went backwards from lacking and Microsoft Xbox one functions isn't bad but it seems like a recap with all the features nothing is really NEW just stuff from other hardware tech thrown together even the UI seems XBMCish. but Yo maybe we maxing out our entertainment anyways
