This is the worst argument ever, Manning played about 14 years before he got missed a single game

That's easier to do when you have a good offensive line, ask Mike Vick about his line.

Not to mention guys like Montana and Young ran the ball as well, and they had longer careers than Peyton. Again, so long as you don't force the runs too much then it's not that big of a deal.

Because pocket QB's dont depend on running as part of their games.
but they still get hit.

in fact not seeing a hit coming and catching it >>> seeing the hit coming and bracing yourself.

RG3 is just a stupid runner who dont know how to slide. Vick was the same way.

And if they get hurt, their games dont change. They rehab and are generally the same player minus Palmer. RG3's knee gets blown out and he's clearly not the same player.

Dog....READ. You call yourself the cap guru but hate the MATH in that article which debunks your opinion....

Im not disputing the math. Im talking about post injury and who has the better chance of regaining the same form. If running was never part of your game to begin with- a knee injury isnt nearly as problematic to someone who was a runner.

Dog...you didn't even process or digest the article.

This isn't about "recovery" or 'back to form"...its about your initial belief in this thread that running QBs are more likely to get hurt than pocket passers. It's BEEN debunked. Can you accept that?

Amazing how these threads didn't pop up when Locker got fukked up in the pocket against the Jets. But that doesn't fit the cliched narrative you guys repeat with the bullshyt myth that's been myth busted.

STOP IT.

its a little to early to say that RG3 isnt the same player, dont you think?

Peyton was throwing ducks last year too.

Anyway, that isnt the point of this thread.

Why narrow it down? Its all relative.

I dont think I am narrowing anything.

we've seen many examples of QBs getting injured "standing tall" in the pocket, yet people only highlight the running QBs. Its BS.

Using Kaepernick's one lone year of starting to "debunk" the theory that running/scrambling QBs don't get hurt more frequently:skip:

That same article used Alex Smith, who got concussed because of his scrambling:skip::pachaha:
