one of the biggest tourist cities in the world. Also due to it having the biggest Navy base in America and also big ass colleges (UCSD and San Diego State) .. If you take a long trip to Cali its one of the 3 cities to visit.. LA, SF and San Diego.. That makes up like 90% of California tourism 
some prefer it even over LA, depending on what you are actually trying to do (not as good as nightlife, but way better nightlife than San Francisco. Great beaches and arguably the best weather in California).

Yeah San Diego is cool. But They have a huge gay community. Lots of hills, lot of bad broads, but also a lot of homo’s. Not somewhere I would want to live but it’s cool to visit and also only hour and a half away from LA
