contrary to the belief on this forum, there are various stories throughout different cultures of the world that tell a story similar to the story of noah. only certain details change but the idea is wide spread. no need to completely write it off as a myth. more than likely, something like this happened. the reasons why are debatable and up to interpretation. but, i say it's entirely possible that this event occurred in some manner...

care to explain exactly how the entire earth would flood? Let alone, how would ANYONE survive a flood that covered the entire earth?

you blockhead, i said there are different versions of the story but the idea still remains. in some versions the entire "world" floods, in some it doesn't. the concept still remains the same: a lot of rain for the first time and a lot of died and there's one core figure...

the idea is this was the first flood. the entire concept floats around the idea that it hadn't ever rained on the earth's surface before and one man knew, somehow, that it was going to happen...

Actually, the popular theory is the flood wasn't the whole world. But, it was the world as it was known at the time. It was a section of the world, not the whole world. It's a big planet, and it's reasonable to believe Noah and others thought their part of the planet was the whole world.

now seriously, i think we are at a point in time where we can be pretty certain that the people in the bible are people of color, if not black than at least brown. even if you dont believe the bible stories, we can still agree that the people of the region were not actually white. i think we need to call it a day on having white people play these roles.
