Dunno how to feel about this. From the mother's perspective, I think it's very reckless to introduce your son to another man so soon. Even moreso to let your son have a close relationship with a guy you've only been seeing for a few months. If Ciara and Russel break up it would be a crushing blow to the child, who is already suffering due to not seeing his father as much as he should.
The other problem is Russell. I'm baffled why he would cosign this. Maybe he really likes Ciara and the kid...but still this relationship seems weird as fukk. Why would a man be so...excited to raise another man's child, and take on a woman who seems as needy as Ciara. How does he not see she is looking to be saved?
My mom told me to never get involved with a woman who has a child with another man tho, so I'm biased. Her reasoning was that if we have kids, my child will naturally want to meet and play with his half brother/sister, and that could lead to my child going to the house of that father. I might not want my child to meet that man, I don't know how he runs his house, etc. If I'm Russell I sure as hell wouldn't want my son hanging around Future. That would create tension and drama, so it's best to simply avoid it.
