Breh my bestfriend is an NFL star. Alot of my former college teammates are playing and have played in the NFL. Those salaries are nothing to play around with because once its over, its a very high percentage that you will never see checks like that again. Add to the fact most players dont want to downgrade their lifestyles either. All it takes is a bad injury, very bad investment, bad marriage, lawsuit, etc and everything you worked for is in jeapordy. I hope Okung succeeds but thats some risky ass shyt he is doing. Im not his accountant or financial advisor so maybe they gave him solid advice. Im just giving my opinion

I just don't see the sense in getting paid in bitcoin when you could just get paid cash and buy some on a dip

If you're investing in bitcoin you have to look at it as a long term investment, yes it's volatile but it's still increasing in value in the long term.

I actually think having some money tied up in bitcoin is smart, but "half" of it is flat out stupid as volatile as the currency is.

I couldn't ever watch my 6 million turn into 500k in a week's time even at the chance it could be 9 million in 5 years.

I've seen some calls on Bitcoin potentially hitting 100 to 500k. He got long money, and Bitcoin isn't going anywhere, so I'm going to go on to say, he's straight.
