Combat Jack used to be on this board and interacting with fans of the show. He was even shouting out The Coli on his show. Then we found out about some disrespectful shyt he said about 2Pac years ago and we went in on him for it. Instead of clearing that shyt up, he fled the site.

:aicmon:

reggie didnt say any thing dissrespectful...
he said what many people said from that time/era

pac was average at best - nothing more nothing less
the problem or issue is the younger generation of hip hop heads has this revisionist history toward him

He was the highest selling rapper when he was alive. No revisionist history. No one has been able to replace him in almost 20 years now. No one has even come close.

I don't know what fukking era you from...but PAC was seen as an ICON during his prime...even by his "haters" back then such as myself...

i was more into the techincal metaphorical style of the East Coast......i.e (nas, lord finesse) etc. and i do feel BIG is a better mc...

but overall PAC was a helluva entertainer and songwriter and his REALISIM as a rap artist cannot be disputed

in my opinion the MOST AUTHENTIC when it comes to the streets

........sounds like your monkey azz is still trying to fight the east west war...

your about as bad as these redneck rebels i work with here in georgia ...who still catching feelings over the CIVIL WAR

grow up dude...it's just music :manny:

One of the highest, BTNH, Biggie, Fugees, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Biggie all did around the same region.

And that's just sales, is Nelly better than Nas? 50 better than Cube? Eminem the goat?

The point is that Pac stans have made it seem like everyone has to be a Pac stan and was a pac stan or hater. When I was a kid I recall it being like it is today with these new rappers (with less haters). Some fukked with them and other didn't, there wasn't any consensus on anything, Pac stans perhaps a bit wilder than the rest after he passed but that was it. He probably had the most fans, s a respected rapper and a goat candidate. While a bunch of oldies were saying that people like him and Snoop were killing hiphop with their crime promoting ways and stuff. That was how it was around my way at least, It probably varied from area to area, city to city and on we didn't have internet and shyt where consensus was reached. And if you read The Source and stuff, he was clearly not the goat. He was a high caliber rapper, getting 3.5 and 4 mic review.

That has nothing to do with AEOM being a classic.

Good interview, my only complaint was that I was hoping Combat Jack was gonna ask him about Sam Jackson playing an evil Russell Simmons in that movie.
