Heads don't even realize how influential Public Enemy was. Without them you wouldn't of had poor righteous Teachers, Lakim shabazz, or any of the afrocentric rappers or that afrocentric movement in hip-hop. They were militant...and like Russell and Rick said...like the hip-hop version of the clash...

first off, public enemy is the goat hip hop, period. no other hip hop group is seein' them. chuck d is a top 2 emcee, only emcee i'd say got the number 1 spot is rakim. however, i think either or could be number 1. :wow:

chuck, flavor, the sw1s, terminator x, and the bomb squad. what more could one ask for in a hip hop group?! :ohlawd:
