The league is bigger than LeBron. No season means 2+ billion dollars in lost revenue, players not getting paid for what remains of their yearly deal, significant adjustments to the CBA that would negatively affect player contracts and fan benefits for years to come, and all types of weird gray areas and new problems that need to be addressed due to them having to do something as unprecedented as ending a whole damn season.
It’s also unfair to the players. You weirdos are so fixated on LeBron but how do you think Giannis and the city of Milwaukee feels? A small market with their new generational superstar, their first real shot at a ring in a long time and potentially their only shot before dude jumps ship for another team.
